We recently embarking on an exciting journey to Dublin, armed with our brand-new camera kit, on its maiden voyage for an opportunity we couldn’t resist. As a support for a renowned production company that we partner with, we were tasked with filming a UX and Immersive demonstration in the heart of Dublin for a well-known high street optician.
The allure of Dublin’s rich history, vibrant culture, and picturesque city made it the perfect backdrop for the project. From the moment we arrived in Dublin, we were greeted by the city’s enchanting blend of ancient and modern. The iconic landmarks, such as Dublin Castle and Trinity College, exuded a timeless charm that begged to be captured on film. The narrow cobblestone streets of Temple Bar (where we enjoyed a Guinness oe two) with their colourful facades provided an energetic atmosphere for our production.
Armed with our new camera kit, we ventured into the heart of Dublin, where the client had purpose-built stage and acoustically treaded booth. The bustling streets of Dublin heart offered a vibrant backdrop, with their eclectic mix of shops and bustling crowds. We captured the busy atmosphere, emphasising the optician’s objective to demonstrate the process of hearing loss.
One cannot experience Dublin without immersing themselves in its rich cultural heritage. Strolling through the Dublin Writers Museum and James Joyce Centre, we certainly captured the essence of literary greatness that the city proudly boasts. Filming in these historically significant places showcased what great videos and storytelling is all about, people! The Dublin folk we well up for the craic and it was one hell of a fun shoot day on the emerald isle!
